Who We Are

A Church Where Lives Are Changed

We believe God changes lives through the truth of His Word and the love of His people.

Founded in 2001, Cornerstone Community Bible Church is a multi-ethnic, multi-generational family making an impact in southwest Houston and around the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We're a welcoming place for people at every stage of life and faith — where families are encouraged, marriages strengthened, addictions broken, and hope restored.

We're affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA).

Doctrine

What We Believe

Our faith is rooted in the timeless truths of God’s Word. We hold firmly to the historic doctrines of the Christian faith.

Section 1

God

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Having limitless knowledge and sovereign power, God has graciously purposed from eternity to redeem a people for Himself and to make all things new for His own glory.

Daniel Ostendorff

Lead Pastor

Daniel Ostendorff

Daniel joined Cornerstone Community Bible Church in Spring 2023. Daniel and his wife, Lauren, are the proud parents of four kids, Aubrey, Aaron, and Hannah, and a son, Ethan, who passed away in January 2019 at the age of 4. Daniel holds a Doctorate in History from the University of Oxford, a Masters in Modern History from Queens University Belfast, and a double-degree in Biblical & Theological Studies and History from John Brown University. Daniel’s heart for what God is doing around the world comes from growing up as a missionary kid in Nairobi, Kenya. With a deep conviction that the Good News of Jesus Christ is the focus of Scripture and the truth that changes lives, Daniel is committed to preaching the whole counsel of God as good news for all people.

Jeremy Good

Worship Pastor

Jeremy Good

Jeremy is committed to seeing the church be a place where the arts are performed with excellence and ultimately utilized in glorifying our Lord. Having completed Jazz Piano degrees from the U. of S. Carolina (BM) and U. of S. Florida (MM), Jeremy has actively worked in the music industry both in and out of churches for some time. Jeremy most enjoys leading God’s people in worship through music on a weekly basis. Jeremy and his wife, Ana, are parents to Elle, Ethan, Lincoln, Karis and Solomon. As a musician and writer, Jeremy has written a number of songs for worship in a corporate setting. As we use them on Sunday mornings, it is Jeremy’s heart to serve the wider church by making these songs available to others
